Lindsay Mathers studied Graphic Design & Illustration and completed an HND. In 2003 she graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art & Design with an honours degree in Drawing & Painting. In 2006 Lindsay received the Dundee Visual Artist Award for a series of experimental new works.

Lindsay captures the essence of the horse, his vitality and beauty. For her the horse is her muse.

What is evident in all of Lindsay’s works is the way she understands to emphasize on  the dignity, grace, power and freedom of these gorgeous animals.
