“Probleempaard” is niet helemaal het juiste woord. Een uitdrukking die beter past is het niet goed begrepen paard. Problemen verschillen van paard tot paard, dus ook de behandeling en er bestaan weinig standaardoplossingen. Het rechtzetten van een wankel vertrouwen tussen mens en dier kan soms wat tijd kosten en daarvoor is het goed om uw kameraad de aandacht en observatie te schenken om de grond van dat vertrouwen te begrijpen. Requirements of a “life time” saddle

When purchasing a saddle several factors need to be considered: The horse: The saddle should enhance the horse’s performance and never restrict it. 1. The panels of the saddle should smoothly and evenly distribute the weight of saddle & rider on either side of the spine 2. The panels of the saddle should be stuffed softly and evenly so it sits comfortably on the horse. Hard stuffing or lumps in the stuffing will cause resistance in the horse 3. The gullet should allow sufficient space on either side of the spine so that the panels do not interfere with the horse’s back muscles and ligaments 4.
