We did a short trip to Germany, precisely to Münster, on the 21st of June 2011 to attend the Open Training by Ingrid Klimke. Problem horse & solution
“Probleempaard” is niet helemaal het juiste woord. Een uitdrukking die beter past is het niet goed begrepen paard. Problemen verschillen van paard tot paard, dus ook de behandeling en er bestaan weinig standaardoplossingen. Het rechtzetten van een wankel vertrouwen tussen mens en dier kan soms wat tijd kosten en daarvoor is het goed om uw kameraad de aandacht en observatie te schenken om de grond van dat vertrouwen te begrijpen. Maar dat hoeft niet per se beangstigend of hard werk te bevatten. Het paard is soms moeilijk in de omgang, laat zich lastig iets leren of haakt af bij iets meer druk of is moeilijk/niet te rijden, het paard luistert niet meer,gaat schoppen, vluchten of zelfs niet meer te benaderen… Toch kan het elke ruiter overkomen dat het niet meer lukt en … Read entire article »

PURCHASE THIS BOOK HERE Does this look dangerous? Perhabs… but why do we have horses and enjoy so much being busy with them? It is probably all down to trust. My all-time favorite book on the subject of dressage is “The Fundamentals of Dressage” by Alfred Knopfhart, which fell into my hands when I was about 10 years old. It did require a dictionary for me than and it took me a long time to read through it, but it is one of the most brilliant books I have ever read.
